Roof 1 Construction

Roof 1 Construction is led by owner Scott Westra, who keeps the same crew year after year rather than subcontracting the work out. The company operates at the GAF Master Elite level, a certification held by only about one percent of roofing contractors, and focuses on helping San Antonio homeowners through storm and hail damage insurance claims. It assesses hail damage by severity, from minor stones under an inch to major hail that can be seen from the street, and represents homeowners through the claims process to pursue a full replacement rather than a patch job. Roof replacements follow the shingle manufacturer's nailing requirements needed to keep the manufacturer's warranty intact, and the company guarantees its own workmanship.
